Our lemon Drizzle nude cake is a refined expression of an old favourite. We bake rich madeira sponge and drench it in zesty lemon syrup. We then ice and fill this gorgeous treat with lemon curd infused white chocolate buttercream. We give it a smooth naked finish and top it with fruit. We prefer to use physalis as in the image above but garnish is always dependent on what fruit is available at any given time.
