Some Good News
Next Day Delivery! At Mannings Bakery we get lots of requests for last minute orders. Being a real, honest to goodness mixing bowls, ovens and spatulas in every branch kinda place it is something we have always been good at. All our cakes are made fresh daily from freshly delivered ingredients and our Bakers & Cake Decorators start at 6.30am in each branch, every day. It makes it easier for us than for others to accomadate last minute cake orders. However, we have never advertised last minute orders and always worked on an ‘if we can oblige, we will oblige’ basis right up untill close of business on Sundays for fear someone might leave it too late and be left short for that special occasion. But at this stage it is something we are doing so regularly and are so well set up for it doesn’t really make sense to keep it a poorly kept secret anymore. We are making it official. We now offer next day delivery on selected cakes & made fresh to order.
Next Day Delivery or Collection
As of today now can now order a selection of our handmade, homemade & downright lovely birthday cakes, occasion cakes & treats through our website, over the phone or in branch for delivery or collection in Dublin the following day (Mon – Saturday).

You need it even Sooner??!! We’ve got your back.
As many of you already know, you can call us Monday to Sunday before 12pm and be guaranteed same day collection on bespoke, freshly made and inscribed selected cakes (Excl Thomas St. which is closed on Sundays).
If you have completely forgotten and none of the above gets you out of a bind, our shop staff are always happy to inscribe any cake off our counter for free right up untill we close, Monday through Sunday. We also conveniently carry a full range of candles.
In Summary!
- Internet ordering is now available for next day collection Mon – Sat (Orders placed on a Saturday for Sunday through the website can’t be processed as the central office is closed!)
- Same day cake orders can be arranged by Calling your local Mannings Bakery before 12pm or calling in and speaking to our shop staff.
- If you need a cake on the same day but after 12pm our shop staff will be happy to inscribe a message onto a cake or plaque for you, straight off the counter
